Questions, answered

What is a virtual number?

It's a real phone number you rent online for a short time. You use it to sign up for an app, and the verification code the app sends appears in your account on our website, not on your own phone.

Is it safe and private?

Your codes are visible only in your own account, and we delete them 24 hours after an order closes. You only need an email address or Google account to sign up. No ID is required.

What happens if no code arrives?

If no code arrives within 20 minutes, the order ends and the full price goes back to your wallet automatically. You can also cancel while you're waiting and get the same refund. There's no ticket to open and no claim window.

How fast is the refund?

Refunds are designed to land in your wallet within a minute of the timer ending. Each one appears in your wallet ledger with its own reference, so you can always see where your money went.

Can I use the same number again?

A verification number is for one code. If you need to receive messages on the same number for weeks or months, number rentals are coming soon.

Why did the app reject my number?

Some apps block certain countries or number types. If that happens, try another country or tap “Replace number” while the order is open. If no code arrives, you're refunded automatically.

How do I pay?

You fund your wallet in naira through Nomba's secure checkout, then pay for each number from your wallet. The available payment methods are shown at checkout.

Can I withdraw my balance?

Refunds for failed orders go straight back to your wallet so you can use them right away. The rules for withdrawing unused balance to a bank account will be set out in our refund policy.

Do you have an API?

Yes. Developers and resellers can buy numbers, track orders and receive webhooks through a REST API with sandbox keys. Visit the developer page to get started.

Which apps aren't allowed?

Numbers may not be used for fraud, harassment, spam, bulk account creation or anything illegal. Some banking and government services may not be available. Our acceptable use policy has the full rules.
